That's why I built Tintwind. It's a small web app that generates OKLCH color palettes designed to drop straight into Tailwind 4's new CSS variable setup.

Why OKLCH?

Why OKLCH? Because the math actually makes sense. Colors with the same lightness value look like they belong together. No more weirdly neon reds or muddy darks crashing your UI.

The app keeps it simple: you tweak the chroma and hue, preview the whole scale in real-time, and copy the variables out. It doesn't try to be a massive design suite, it just fixes a specific annoyance I kept running into.
